This plant emollient has traditionally been used by Africans as a medicinal balsam and beauty product. To date, many clinical trials and test performed by dermatologists have demonstrated the multiplicity of nourishing, softening, soothing, anti-wrinkle and healing activities of the African Shea Butter. Our African Shea Butter is entirely cold pressed in the traditional African method without any solvents. It has a very mild, pleasant smell that can be combined with essential oils for a desired odor. This jar is scented with essential Apple oil.
